This Privacy Policy describes the information Markodojo collects when You, Your company, and Your Authorized Users (collectively “You” or “Your”) sign up for, use, access or otherwise interact with any of Markodojo’s websites, applications, mobile applications, or APIs (collectively “Services”), or You attend a Markodojo event (an “Attendee”), how we use and share that information, and the choices we offer regarding that information. This policy applies to all information we collect through our Services, even if You have not signed up for a Markodojo account.
Markodojo’s Services may contain links to other Web sites. The information practices or the content of such other Web sites is governed by the privacy statements of such other Web sites. Markodojo encourages You to review the privacy statements of other Web sites to understand their information practices.
Markodojo may change this policy from time to time. If Markodojo makes changes, Markodojo will notify You by posting the updated policy at www.markodojo.com/privacy-policy, which will be effective upon the date indicated at the bottom of this policy. Markodojo encourages You to review the policy whenever You use our Services to stay informed about our information practices and about the choices available to You.
1. Collection of Information
1.1 Information You Provide
Markodojo collects information You provide, such as, but no limited to, when You sign up for a Markodojo Service, when You request certain information from a Markodojo Service, or during the course of providing You technical support. Markodojo may collect, but is not limited to collecting, the following: basic user information, such as Your name, company name, email address, mailing address, phone number; financial information, including payment card information, billing address and other billing information; information You provide about third parties, including name, email address and mailing address, and phone number; and other contact, social network and demographic information.
1.2 Information Markodojo Collects from Your Use of the Services
Markodojo collects information about You when You use our Services, including:
Usage Information. Markodojo collects information about how You use our Services, including , but not limited to, Your access times, browser types and language, and Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses.
Location Information. When our Services are accessed on Your mobile device, Markodojo may receive information about the location of the device.
Device Information. Markodojo may collect device-specific information when You access our Services, including Your hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and information about the device’s interaction with our Services. Markodojo may also identify other software running on the device (but will not collect any content from such software).
Information Collected by Cookies and Web Beacons. Markodojo uses various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to Your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files that are stored on Your hard drive or in device memory by a website. Among other things, cookies support the integrity of our registration process, aid security processes, retain Your preferences and account settings, and help evaluate and compile aggregated statistics about user activity.
Markodojo may also collect information using web beacons. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in our Services or emails. Markodojo may use web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon.
Billing. Markodojo uses a third-party service provider to manage payment card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on the Company’s behalf.
1.3 Social Media Features
Markodojo Services may use social media features, such as the Facebook ‘like’ button. These features may collect Your IP address and which page You are visiting on the Markodojo Service, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. You may be given the option by such social media features to post information about Your activities on the Markodojo Service to a profile page of Yours that is provided by a third party social media provider in order to share with others within Your network. Social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Markodojo Service. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the relevant social media Features.
2. Third-Party Analytics
Markodojo may use third parties to provide analytics services in conjunction with our Services. These third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information, such as Your IP addresses, identifiers associated with Your mobile device or applications on the device, the browsers You use to visit our Services, pages viewed, response times and time spent on pages.
3. Use of Information
Markodojo uses information about You to provide, maintain, personalize, and improve our Services and to deliver the information and support You request, including technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
Markodojo may use information we collect to send You news and information about our Services and to communicate with You about products, services, events, promotions, and incentives offered by us or select partners.
Markodojo may also use information about You to track and analyze trends and usage in connection with our Services; to protect our rights or property; to verify Your identity; to investigate and prevent fraud or other illegal activities; and for any other purpose disclosed to You in connection with our Services.
4. Sharing of Information
Markodojo may share personal information about You as follows:
With third parties to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including service providers who access information about You to perform services on our behalf (e.g., fraud prevention and verification services), and including financial institutions, processors, payment card associations, and other entities that are part of the payment process;
In connection with, or during the negotiation of, any merger, sale of company stock or assets, financing, acquisition, divestiture, or dissolution of all or a portion of our business;
If Markodojo believes that disclosure is reasonably necessary to: comply with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process; to enforce applicable agreements or policies; to protect the security or integrity of our Services; and to protect Markodojo, end users, or the public from harm or illegal activities; and
With Your consent.
Markodojo may also share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information with third parties.
5. Business Partners
Markodojo may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If You purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from Markodojo, Markodojo may share information collected in connection with Your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). Markodojo does not control our business partners’ use of the data about You that we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. If You do not wish for Your information to be shared in this manner, You may opt not to purchase or express interest in a jointly offered product or service.
Markodojo does not share data about Markodojo Attendees with business partners unless: You specifically opt in to such sharing via an event registration form; or, You attend a Company event and allow Markodojo or any of its business partners to collect Your information. If You do not wish for Your information to be shared in this manner, You may choose not to opt in via event registration forms and elect not to have Your information collected at events. If You choose to share Your information with business partners in the manners described above, Your information will be subject to the business partners’ respective privacy statements.
6. Your Choices
Cookies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If You prefer, You can usually choose to set Your browser to remove or reject cookies; however, our Services may not function properly if You do so.
Personal Information. You may change or correct information about Yourself by logging into Your Markodojo account at any time and changing the details under Your ‘People’ record, or by emailing Markodojo at [email protected]. You may also email Markodojo if You wish to deactivate Your account. Markodojo may retain archived copies of information about You and Your transactions for a period of time that is consistent with applicable law.
Promotional Communications. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or text messages from Markodojo by following the instructions in those emails or text messages. If You opt out, Markodojo may still send You non-promotional communications, such as messages about Your account, support issues, or our ongoing business relations.
Additionally, if You do not agree with the use of Your personal data as outlined in this privacy policy, You may: refrain from interacting with the Services; or, discontinue use of the Services. If at any time You choose to discontinue use of the Services, You may do so by notifying Markodojo at [email protected].
7. Security
Markodojo take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to help protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
8. Location of Information
Markodojo may use its own hardware and software, or Markodojo may use third-party service providers to, collect, process and store personal information in the United States and other countries.
